Resumen del Puesto
Buscamos un Mozo de Almacén dinámico y con excelente condición física para unirse a nuestro equipo. El candidato ideal se encargará de recibir, almacenar, mover y preparar envíos de muebles y artículos de decoración. El objetivo principal es garantizar que el inventario se maneje de forma segura y eficiente, manteniendo el almacén organizado.
Responsabilidades Principales
- Carga y descarga: Recibir camiones con mercancía nueva y cargar los vehículos de entrega a domicilio.
- Movimiento de mercancía: Transportar muebles pesados dentro del almacén utilizando carretillas, transpaletas o de forma manual.
- Control de inventario: Verificar que los productos recibidos coincidan con las facturas y reportar cualquier daño o pieza faltante.
- Preparación de pedidos (Picking): Localizar y organizar los muebles que están listos para ser entregados a los clientes o enviados a las tiendas.
- Ensamblaje básico: Armar o desembalar muebles cuando sea necesario para su exhibición o entrega.
- Mantenimiento: Mantener el área de trabajo limpia, ordenada y libre de peligros para garantizar un entorno seguro.
Requisitos y Calificaciones
- Capacidad física: Capacidad para levantar, empujar y arrastrar objetos pesados (hasta 50 libras o 22 kg) de forma continua.
- Experiencia previa: Experiencia deseable en almacenes, preferiblemente en el sector de muebles o mudanzas.
- Habilidades técnicas: Valorable el manejo de montacargas (forklift) o certificación vigente.
- Atención al detalle: Capacidad para leer etiquetas, códigos de barras y hojas de ruta con precisión.
- Trabajo en equipo: Actitud colaborativa y buena comunicación con compañeros y supervisores.
- Disponibilidad: Flexibilidad para trabajar en diferentes turnos, incluyendo fines de semana si es necesario.
Monday – Friday; 7 am to 4:30 with OT time to time
Pay rate: $17
Duties: loading and unloading furniture that are in big boxes and stack them on a pallet.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds; physically able. On your feet all day, pushing , pulling products.
