About the Role The Unit Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support to the nursing staff, patients, and families at our Lake Park facility. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our unit, providing exceptional patient care, and promoting a positive and respectful work environment. Responsibilities Greet patients, families, and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, medical charts, and files Coordinate with nursing staff to maintain efficient and effective communication Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, surgeries, and procedures Provide administrative support to the nurse manager and other staff members Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA regulations What We Offer Setting Standards in Skilled Nursing Care at North Lake Care Center, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
