Commercial Pest Control Technician

About the Role A Commercial Pest Control Technician provides industry‑leading pest management services for commercial customers, performing inspections, applying treatments, and educating clients while following safety regulations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest infestations, damage, and entry points. Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while maintaining safety standards. Educate customers on pest prevention methods and advise on reducing future infestation risks. Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand product offerings to new customers. Maintain, stock, and service pest control equipment. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to pest control products and safety protocols. Operate company‑provided service vehicle safely (routine maintenance provided). Work in tight, confined spaces and handle exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust, and mechanical hazards, wearing appropriate PPE. Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions using company‑provided gear. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided). Availability to work Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed. Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills; ability to present information internally and externally. Basic math skills for product labeling and mixing instructions. Licenses or certificates required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by the company). Customer‑facing experience preferred. Self‑starter with documentation, route planning, technology usage, and commission‑driven motivation encouraged.
