Growing together.This position will perform Echocardiograms on patients in the Cardiology department and other related duties.Primary Responsibilities:Performs Echocardiograms/Ultrasounds of the heart following standard proceduresDocuments all readings, measurements and technical information appropriately into the electronic medical record systemDispenses Echocardiogram reports to the assigned Physician for reading and interpretationEnsures the highest quality of patient care while performing the study, ensures ICAEL requirements and standards are metPerforms Patient Education following standard proceduresComplies with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, etc.Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectivesEnhances professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.Attends a variety of meetings, conferences, and seminars as required or directedPerforms other similar and related duties as required or directedRegular, reliable and predictable attendance will be requiredYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialtyAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience in adult echo and stress/echoAbility to provide CEU documentation required for certificationDemonstrated ability to independently perform testsDemonstrated ability to take initiative and work independentlyDemonstrated good interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skillsPhysical Requirement:Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the positionPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
