Key Qualifications:

• Valid LBS1 certification (or ability to obtain)
• Previous experience as a special education teacher, particularly at the middle school level, is beneficial
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Co-teach four sections of ELA (two for 7th grade and two for 8th grade)
• Casemanage a group of approximately 15 students
• Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with students, families, and fellow educators
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
