CGI Federal is seeking a senior financial management professional to support U.S. Marine Corps activities in the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) environment, including business system migration support, training, sustainment, and end user assistance.
You'll support budget formulation/execution, reconciliation and FY closeout activities, resolve interface errors/unmatched transactions, analyze trends and processing gaps, develop job aids, and deliver virtual/remote training and briefings. Experience with DAI modules (B2R, P2P, O2C, CA, OTL) and ADVANA preferred. This position is remote Your future duties and responsibilities
Generally, the Senior Financial Analyst supports the planning, policy, execution, reporting, and oversight of Financial Management (FM) operations. Support budget formulation, budget execution, cost accounting, resource evaluation and analysis (RE&A), OMB A 123, and financial statement audit initiatives. Support the formulation, evaluation, interpretation, and application of proposed and published FM policies and procedures. Support Fiscal Year (FY) closeout activities, including funds execution, reconciliation, validation, and certification. Support the development and delivery of financial management training, assistance, and inspection programs. Develop and deliver briefings relative to FM operations. Individual may also supervise peer and/or junior financial analysts.
Specifically, the Senior Financial Analyst position will be supporting U.S. Marine Corps activities and personnel with the execution of assigned responsibilities within the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI). This also includes receiving, analyzing, prioritizing, coordinating, diagnosing, and resolving requests for assistance through virtual, and remote support. Routine scenarios may be resolved through the application of existing guidance and training aids while non routine scenarios may require significant research and coordination to develop, propose, and implement service wide solutions. Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:
. Familiarity with and capability to access, navigate, and transact within DAI.
. Familiarity with DAI modules: Budget to Report (B2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), Cost Accounting (CA), Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), and reporting through Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
. Provide functional and technical expertise to assist the workforce in the execution of their assigned responsibilities.
. Integrate job aids/quick reference guides specific to the USMC configuration, encompassing the most commonly perf Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Experience 8 years of full time experience (including internships) providing financial management related services. Education: Bachelor's Degree; 4 years of additional work experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. including. General working knowledge in DAI and ADVANA. Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. General working knowledge in the following systems and associated reports: GCSS MC, SYNCADA, DTS, GSA, EBS, PIEE/WAWF, WebVLips, CEDMS, LDG, STORES, EEBP, and DMLSS.
. Limited travel may be required, not anticipated to exceed four (4) weeks per year.
. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, including ability to lead periods of informal virtual, remote, and in person support/training with DAI users.
. Ability to multi task and employ problem solving skills. CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $172,400.00.
