Senior Project ManagerThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for driving the successful execution of complex manufacturing projects while serving as a senior resource in the development of project management capabilities across the organization. This role requires a demonstrated ability to lead through influence, develop others, build effective processes, and take ownership of increasingly complex initiatives.Location: Orrville, OHPrimary Responsibilities:Manage project activities related to manufacturing and assembly operationsEstablish and standardize project management processes, tools, metrics, and best practices to improve execution, communication, and cross-functional alignment.Serve as a senior leader on complex, high-visibility projects, driving accountability and alignment across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams.Partner with Project Engineers and technical leadership to plan, execute, forecast, prioritize, and assess project workTrack and execute approval of subcontractor deliverablesDevelop and manage purchase orders, change orders, and contract documentationLead key project initiatives, including development of supporting documentation and proceduresDrive continuous improvement in project execution by identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, and strengthen schedule, cost, and quality performance.Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external vendorsOrganize and track engineering and licensing documentationProvide mentoring and guidance to Project team membersSupport non-technical logistics for permanent staff and contractors, including integration with Holtec software toolsRequirements:4 year degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline6+ years of experience managing projects in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multi-task effectivelyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and reliable work styleEffective communication, interpersonal, and computer skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, error-free documentation and follow established processesAbility to work effectively within diverse and challenging team environmentsWillingness and ability to learn and adapt in a technical manufacturing environmentProject Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus but not required.Experience assessing multidisciplinary engineering work packagesA Generation Ahead by Design™ Investing in people who power the future.
