Cover the DSP/Caregiver responsibilities as needed. Supervise staff scheduling, performance, and compliance with policies. Support implementation of ISPs and activity schedules. Monitor facility cleanliness, safety, and equipment (e.g., wheelchairs). Maintain staffing levels; report attendance issues. Train and support staff on safety, infection control, and procedures. Document care, incidents, and operational issues accurately. Communicate with Administrator-On-Duty regarding critical issues. Conduct safety drills and maintain shift logs. Ensure compliance with all policies, including abuse reporting. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years’ experience in MR/DD field preferred; 1 year supervisory experience preferred. Valid driver’s license. Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
