• Position Type: Contract (Travel)
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $79.20–$83.20 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift — 3x12 or 4x12 Nights (19:00–7:30)
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks. Traveler can be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2 weeks.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery RN travel assignment at a high-risk OB unit. The unit includes 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 OR suites, and 4 PACU rooms. Average daily deliveries are approximately 7, but the unit frequently manages up to 14 patients with inductions and high-risk antepartum cases. OB Triage averages 4–5 third-trimester testing patients as well as an influx of triage patients each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit, including intrapartum, antepartum, and OB triage patients
• Float to like units within scope to meet facility needs, if needed
• Charge experience preferred, or willingness to train as charge nurse
• Work every other weekend as required
• Submit all requested time off (RTO) at the time of submittal; RTO is approved on an individual basis upon offer

Required Skills

• Per unit description (UD) skill set for Labor and Delivery
• Ability to care for high-risk antepartum and induction patients
• Ability to work in OB Triage and Labor and Delivery settings
• Charge experience preferred, or willingness to train as charge

Education Requirements

• AK RN License required (must be in hand for Auto Offer; pending license accepted pending licensure)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
