Histology Technician I

Job Overview The Histology Technician I role focuses on preparing tissues for microscopic analysis at our Safety Assessment site in Reno, NV. As a Histology Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of research and the integrity of pre‑clinical studies. Primary Responsibilities Dissection, decalcification, processing, embedding, cutting, staining, quality control, immunohistochemistry, histomorphometry, and slide scanning. Prepare necessary materials requested by procedures. Operate laboratory equipment. Prepare chemical reagents. Qualifications College degree in Science, Biotechnology, or a related field. High level of attention to detail. Ability to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop). Understanding of written English is mandatory. Role Specific Information Salary: $21/hr.
