RN Float PoolPerform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs.Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to address identified patient needs and goals.Administer medications accurately and appropriately as ordered, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as necessary.Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.Provide patient and family education about the care plan, medications, procedures, and other relevant information to ensure understanding and compliance.Assist physicians with bedside procedures and prepare patients for tests, procedures, and surgeries.Monitor patient lab work for trends and report abnormal results for necessary actions.Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to policies, procedures, and infection control protocols.Document all pertinent patient care information accurately and timely in the patient's medical record.Participate in quality improvement and research activities by engaging in unit-based initiatives and evidence-based practice projects.Respond effectively to emergencies by providing necessary interventions and coordinating with the healthcare team to stabilize patients.Performs other duties as assigned.
