Key Responsibilities for the Accountant:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, and general ledger activity.
Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Support financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis activities.
Monitor revenue and expenditures to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
Assist with annual audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
Collaborate with program and operational teams to support financial management and reporting.

Qualifications for the Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two (2+) years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit, healthcare, or governmental environments.
