Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant – Mobile Pediatric Clinic

Location: Houston, TX 77054
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Duration: 13-week contract with potential extension or permanent hire

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join a mobile pediatric healthcare team in the Houston area. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, BMI, and reason for visit.
• Update patient medical histories, medications, allergies, and outside care information.
• Assist providers with pediatric patient care and clinical procedures.
• Perform hearing/vision screenings and assist with specimen collection.
• Perform treatments such as nebulizer treatments, ear irrigation, and dressing changes.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient documentation.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA/COLA, and patient safety requirements.
• Assist with general clinical and office duties as needed.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or EMT program.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current qualifying Medical Assistant or EMT certification, such as CMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, EMT, or Paramedic.
• At least 1 year of experience
• Pediatric experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic pediatric care.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
