What you'll be doing:

• Participate in a two-month instructor-led and on-the-job sales training program.
• Prospect and identify new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Set appointments and meet with prospective business customers.
• Develop new customer accounts and expand Staples' B2B customer base.
• Build strong customer relationships and uncover business needs.
• Present tailored solutions, products, and services.
• Partner with sales support and product experts to deliver customer success.
• Achieve activity and sales goals including calls, emails, meetings, wins, and quota attainment.
• Manage customer interactions both virtually and in person as needed.
• Prepare for advancement opportunities into sales consultant and leadership career paths.

What's needed - Preferred Qualifications:

Work Location:

This is a remote position with a regional focus. This position supports customers in Central NJ and the representative will be required to travel 1-2 days per week for client facing meetings within their territory. While the role primarily supports working from home, the individual performing this role would live within or adjacent to this region.

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
