BXCI is also a leading provider of investment management services for insurers, helping those companies better deliver for policyholders through our world-class capabilities in investment grade private credit.Job DescriptionProvide support to the Capital Markets & Bank Relations team with respect to liability capital markets, financing, and bank relationship management activities for the Credit & Insurance business (“BXCI”). Responsibilities will include the following:Work on debt financings for both single-asset and portfolio transactions, including modeling, lender diligence and materials, proposal comparisons, and the reviewand negotiation of credit agreements and related transaction documentation with legal counselCollaborate with portfolio management teams and banking teams to build efficient financing structures and portfolios Support debt and equity capital markets activities, including the issuance of private and public bonds out of select BXCI fundsPrepare materials and market updates for debt investors, rating agencies, banks, fund boards, and internal committeesParticipate in meetings with bank partners, create briefing notes for senior management, and maintain ongoing engagement data to assist in holistic management of BXCI’s bank relationshipsInterface with capital raising and distribution partners, portfolio managers, risk, middle office / operations, and custodiansConduct ongoing liability management and analysis of financing and capital structures for BXCI’s fundsManage data analysis and rating agency interactions to receive and maintain asset ratings for rated financing vehiclesAssist with ongoing organization of team project pipeline, ensuring opportunities, materials, and timelines are clearly tracked and accessibleCollaborate with internal BX teams to design and implement AI-enabled tools, embedding AI into day-to-day workflows and leading internal efforts to drive adoption and innovation Develop new relationships with banks, insurance companies, and other sources of financing and/or investment opportunities for BXCI fundsProvide general support to the capital markets and financing functions of BXCIQualifications Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, have sound judgement, are intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical skills, the successful candidate should meet the following qualifications:Undergraduate degree2+ years of experience, ideally working at an investment bank, consulting firm, or credit asset manager. Experience and familiarity with debt capital markets, credit investing and leveraged finance markets is a plusStrong verbal and written communication, financial analysis, data management, and presentation skillsMotivation in leveraging AI and automation tools to improve workflow efficiency, enhance data analysis, and reduce operational errorsA high degree of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel and excellent attention to detailCritical thinking skills, including identifying trends and insights from raw data setsHigh degree of motivation and works well independentlyExperienced in handling multiple tasks, deadlines, and responsibilitiesStrong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and manage both internal and external business relationshipsThe duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
