Construction Project Manager

Location: Can be based in Ft. Myers, Sarasota, Ocala, or Orlando Compensation: $140,000-$160,000 A leading commercial real estate development organization is seeking experienced Project Managers to oversee ground-up commercial construction projects across Florida. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-profile developments from preconstruction through closeout while partnering directly with development, design, construction, and executive leadership teams. The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading complex projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, contracting, procurement, and cost control. Lead projects from preconstruction through turnover while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the design and construction process. Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures. Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedules, contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to internal leadership and stakeholders. Manage change orders, project documentation, budget revisions, and contract administration. Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, tenants, and project partners. Required Qualifications: Commercial construction project management experience with a proven track record delivering ground-up projects. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project controls. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with owners, developers, or developer-general contractor organizations.
