KeyResponsibilities DocumentControl Maintainallprojectdocumentsinanorganizedmanner. Coordinatedistributionofproject/biddocumentstoalltradepartnersandvendors. Savealldocumentspercompanystandards. Saveandarchiveallestimatespreadsheets,vendor,andsubcontractorquotation. PreliminaryAccessandLogisticPlanning Coordinatewiththeoperationsteamonaccessandsitelogisticsforeachproject. Shareaccessandlogisticsplanwithtradepartnersandvendors. PreliminaryScheduling Coordinatewithoperationsonpreliminaryscheduleforpricing. Sharepreliminaryschedulewithtradepartnersandvendors. SiteVisitsandDataGathering Attendingallprebidmeetingsandpre-projectsitevisitsasapplicable. Documentconditionsofsitevisitbynotesandphotodocumentation Determinescopeofworkwithengineering,deficiencyreportsanddestructivetestingteam. CostEstimation Analyzeallprojectdocumentstodevelopunderstandingofeachproject. DetermineKRCSelfPerformScopesofwork. Determinewhichscopewillrequiresubtradepartners. Performgranularquantitytakeoffs,includingmaterialsandmaterialpricingforeachscope. Ensureproperbidcoverageperscope–minimum3bidsperscope. Assembleandmanagecompletebidtabsforeveryestimate. Completedetailsandcompleteestimatesforeachproject. Coordinateandconfirmwithoperationsproductivityforself-performscopesofwork. Presentingprojectatprojectturnovermeeting Trackaccuratetimespentonestimatingtaskforeachspecificproject. ProvideRoughOrderofMagnitude(ROM)/ConceptualEstimateforLitigationproject. Reviewallprojectestimateswithoperationsanddirectorofpreconstruction. SubcontractorRelationships Maintainrelationshipswithallsubcontractorsandvendors. Managethesubcontractorsolicitationprocess. Aideinbuildingcompletedatabaseofapprovedtradepartners. ContinuingEducation Researchmaterialsandproductsspecifiedforeachprojectandsaveproductdatasheetswithinprojectfolder. RelationshipBuilding&Collaboration Bethemainpointofcontactduringpreconstruction. Theliaisonbetweenbusinessdevelopment,operations,designconsultants,andtheclient.
