Location: Grand Blanc, MI, 48439, United States Description The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing full-cycle recruiting efforts to ensure the organization attracts, engages, and hires top talent. This role partners closely with hiring managers understand workforce needs, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver a strong candidate experience aligned with company values and growth goals. The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in building talent pipelines, improving recruiting processes, and strengthening the organization’s employer brand. Responsibilities Partnering with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs Developing and executing sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates Posting job openings across multiple platforms and recruiting channels Proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and databases Screening resumes and conducting initial candidate interviews Coordinating interview schedules and managing the candidate pipeline Maintaining accurate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS) Building and maintaining relationships with active and passive candidates Ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the hiring process Attending job fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach opportunities Monitoring hiring trends and providing insights to improve recruiting strategies Supporting employer branding initiatives to attract top talent Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of recruiting processes and talent acquisition strategies Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) Ability to source candidates using multiple recruiting platforms Strong organizational and time management skills Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate recruiting metrics and trends Knowledge of employment laws and hiring compliance practices Familiarity with the industry and key roles within the organization Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum two years previous recruiting experience required. Previous recruitment in the construction industry preferred. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Primarily office-based in Genesee County, Michigan with periodic visits to other office locations Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods Travel within Michigan and occasional out-of-state travel may be required Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience and project portfolio.
