About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Orthopedics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years of experience preferred, previous travel experience preferred License: State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - Ortho trauma and total joint replacement experience required - Charting system experience required (Epic) - Patient ratio experience: 1:6 Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in an orthopedic unit. Experience with ortho trauma and total joint replacements is required. Nurses will work 12-hour night shifts and will care for a ratio of 1:6. Candidates must possess a state or compact nursing license and relevant certifications. Preferred qualifications include trauma level I or II experience. The ability to perform various nursing skills and procedures is essential. The unit will have 36 beds and interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy and respiratory services. The nurse will also manage care for patients with diverse diagnoses, coordinating closely with the healthcare team.
