Beyond Yoga Store Manager- NYC Pop-Up

Job Summary Business Ownership – Temporary role managing the pop‑up store (August – January). Lead the retail team to achieve sales, payroll, and operational goals while fostering employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment. Responsibilities Lead the retail team to meet daily, weekly and monthly sales targets, and execute performance plans based on conversion, units per transaction and sales per hour KPI’s. Recruit, hire, pay and terminate all store personnel and manage employee relations, coaching and conflict resolution. Oversee onboarding and training of new hires to reinforce Beyond Yoga culture, product knowledge and customer service standards. Coach staff to enhance skills and create succession plans for promotion. Manage store schedules and payroll to align with labor costs and business conditions. Maintain inventory accuracy and execute receiving, pricing, ticketing and loss prevention protocols. Apply visual merchandising standards to create compelling product displays that tell a brand story. Create a memorable in‑store experience through active selling and service behaviors. Build relationships with the local community and support brand‑engagement events. Represent and embody Beyond Yoga’s core values in all interactions. Qualifications Fast‑paced self‑starter with a growth mindset who thrives on juggling multiple tasks. Collaborative role model aligned with an inclusive culture of belonging. Demonstrated retail leadership with proven coaching, training and supervisory skills. Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, bend and climb ladders as needed. High school diploma or GED preferred.
