Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. $17 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:

Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff
Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment
Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner
React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts

Qualifications:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory
Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
