Multifamily Construction Superintendent — TRE Construction TRE Construction is a multifamily renovation and capital improvement contractor based in Fremont, CA. We work in occupied apartment communities across the Bay Area, handling insurance restoration, waterproofing, building envelope repairs, unit turns, exterior and interior renovations, and SB721-related work. We are restructuring our field operations and hiring a Superintendent to own execution on every active project. The Role This position owns the field. You are responsible for how projects actually get built, not just whether they get built. You report directly to ownership. There is no Operations Manager layer above you. You will run projects that come to you fully scoped through a structured turnover from our Estimating team. You are not inheriting a blank slate or chasing down what was sold. You\'ll get the proposal, scope, drawings, photos, budget assumptions, known site concerns, client expectations, and specialty procurement already in motion. Your job starts with building it right. What You'll Own Field execution across all active projects Crew scheduling and management of Foremen Quality and safety on every jobsite Daily material procurement and equipment coordination Subcontractor coordination Production and project sequencing Means and methods — how the work gets done is your call What You Won't Be Doing This is not a paper-pushing PM role. You won\'t be writing proposals, chasing estimates, or doing office-based project administration. Estimating handles scope development, pricing, and change order pricing. You handle the field. Experience We Need We\'re not looking for a general commercial builder. We need someone who has actually worked in occupied multifamily environments and understands the constraints that come with it; residents living on site, unit-by-unit sequencing, HOA and property management coordination, and the trades specific to this work. Strong background required in most of the following: Occupied apartment community construction Windows, and door Unit renovations Insurance restoration Waterproofing and building envelope repair Structural wood repair and dry rot remediation Exterior and interior renovations Stucco and EIFS Painting and concrete ADA improvements Clubhouse and pool renovations MEP coordination Ground-up commercial experience alone will not be a fit for this role. We need multifamily renovation experience specifically. Technology Comfortable with Outlook, Word, Excel, and using a tablet or cloud-based software on the jobsite. QuickBooks, Paychex, or Ramp experience is a plus but not required. Technology is secondary to multifamily operational experience. Preferred Qualifications
