Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or substitute teacher in a school environment
• Skilled in supporting students from Grades K-12, particularly those requiring individualized attention
• Familiarity with Special Education caseloads and an understanding of 1:1 pediatric support
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and classrooms

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized support to one student, adapting strategies to their unique learning needs
• Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans, activities, and accommodations
• Help manage classroom behaviors and foster a positive, inclusive environment
• Document progress and communicate relevant student updates to appropriate staff
• Support transitions between grade-level activities as needed

This full-time contract position consists of 30 hours per week and follows a schedule that includes one 15-minute break, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The assignment runs from the current date through June 5, 2026, providing stability as well as professional growth.
