Internal Legal Specialist-Garnishment

Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The Legal Department is looking for a Specialist to join our team in Troy, MI. This resource will support the Internal Legal Department, assisting and working with the team to manage daily operations and projects. The role includes monitoring automated and manual processes to ensure proper handling of accounts, participating in projects and analysis as needed, and communicating performance, initiatives, and process results. The position requires adherence to complex process requirements, directions, and handling administrative processes. Responsibilities Read and assess legal documents, validate accuracy and take requisite action; identify and resolve data or content discrepancies through utilization of internal and external resources in a timely manner. Retrieve, print and attach appropriate documents. Attention to detail and multitasking. Strong written and verbal communication. Sort/Alphabetize documents. Effectively communicate status of projects and workload. Language and Experience Language: Required: English. Experience: Required: 1-2 years customer service or clerical experience, experience with MS Office, good communication skills, data entry. Preferred: 2+ years work experience in financial services related field, system querying skills, proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel). Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma. Experience: 1-2 years customer service or clerical experience. Knowledge, skills, abilities, and other attributes: Experience with data entry, strong Microsoft office skills.
