Accounting Assistant
We partnered with our client in the Addison area, in search for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant. This role is designed for an entry-level accounting or operations candidate looking to gain hands-on, practical experience in core accounting functions, ERP software, and non-profit donation management.Working under the guidance of the Accounting Manager, you will manage daily receipts, monthly bank reconciliations, credit card expense coding, and database recordkeeping. Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: M-F 8:00am -5:00pm
100% Onsite
Compensation: $25/hour
Location : Addison, TX
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily input of receipts, enter check and setup projects into the current ERP system
- Email education donors who may have forgotten to donate (once or twice annually)
- Update the PEP sheet for donations related to students
- Reconcile bank statements monthly
- Obtain American Express backup and code by team monthly
- Reconcile fundraising activity to the bank monthly
- Update contact information as needed
- Perform remote deposit capture to deposit checks and book them into systems
- Send weekly team reports to team leaders
- Assist the Accounting Manager with additional tasks as needed
