Activities Director

Responsibilities Complete the Personal Well-Being Profile and hold meetings with new residents within 7 days of move‑in to determine requested program levels. Orient residents to community activity programs and show them how to access activities. Follow the written schedule with minimal change or cancellation; arrange entertainment within budgeted allotments; promote all programs to improve resident participation; comply with the spending budget on activity supplies and entertainment. On a quarterly basis, participate in events that may be used for marketing efforts. Organize these events, including planning, advertising, set‑up, and clean‑up. Schedule resident outings on the monthly calendar, including site‑seeing trips, destination locations, and medical trips; organize transportation for activity outings and medical visits with the assisted‑living community. Foster teamwork with co‑workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions to assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co‑workers, residents, and visitors.
