Job Title Workforce Engagement Generalist Location USA – Florida – Orlando – Wycliffe USA Headquarters Job Summary At Wycliffe Bible Translators, your work is more than just a job. As a workforce engagement generalist, you’ll be responsible for initiating, developing, and maintaining resources that serve and engage people towards service in Bible translation. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in implementing successful plans that inspire, invite and grow the engagement of present and future staff in God’s global mission. Responsibilities Facilitate functions within the workgroup. Shepherd and steward GWS resources to further Wycliffe USA’s strategic priorities, principles and objectives. Actively participate in GWS team engagements to optimize team culture, cohesion, performance and outcomes. Assist with cross-functional team responsibilities and tactical team/departmental initiatives. Represent the GWS team in meetings, projects, workshops and partnership efforts, as assigned. Help analyze and drive the continual improvement of internal and external GWS’ communications and engagement resources, processes and service delivery systems. Conceptualize, develop, implement and consult on recruitment and outreach strategies for key mobilization initiatives, lead generation and internal employer branding. Craft and test compelling messages and UX/UI journeys across marketing, communication and engagement channels. Work with various teams (design, content, editorial, video, event, social media) to implement program and product marketing strategies. Follow and analyze market trends to effectively position resources, opportunities, and offerings. Manage the flow of internal communications, including intake, drafting, coordination and distribution across teams and leaders. Partner with senior leaders to translate ideas and priorities into clear, actionable messaging and communication plans. Collaborate in creating content and strategies for staff learning and engagement initiatives, including onboarding, training and development. Provide direction and supervision to team members, including volunteers and interns. Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Workforce Innovation and CHRO. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience in marketing or communications; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Graphic design experience preferred. Ministry experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google applications, Zoom, Canva, social media platforms and email marketing platforms. Strong communication, project management, analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills. Ability to manage complex projects and staff responsibilities between multiple teams/departments. Demonstrated humility, adaptability, service orientation, customer focus, confidentiality, relationship building, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and results‑driven mindset. Spiritual and Personal Commitments Demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, as evidenced by personal testimony and active participation in corporate prayer and devotional times.
