Youth Sports Scorekeeper for Fall 2026 SeasonLove sports? Be part of the action!St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is looking for dependable, enthusiastic individuals to join our Athletics team as Youth Sports Scorekeepers. If you enjoy baseball, softball, basketball, or volleyball and thrive in a fast-paced game-day environment, this is a great opportunity to earn extra income while supporting youth athletics in our community.As a Youth Sports Scorekeeper, you'll operate the scoreboard and game clock, maintain the official scorebook, and help ensure games run smoothly. You'll work alongside coaches, officials, and Athletics staff to create a fun, safe, and positive experience for players and families.What You'll Do:Keep the official scorebook, scoreboard, and game clockRecord game information accurately and efficientlyMake game announcements when neededSupport a positive and sportsmanlike atmosphereAssist with maintaining a safe game environmentQualifications:Must be at least 16 years oldBasic knowledge of baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, or other youth sportsReliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independentlyCPR/AED/First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)Schedule:Seasonal, part-time hoursEvenings and weekends based on game schedulesPay:$15.00 - $18.00 per hour, dependent on experienceIf you're reliable, enjoy sports, and want to make a difference in youth athletics, we'd love to have you on our team.
