Human Resources Business Partner

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnering with a well-established global manufacturer to hire an experienced HR Business Partner for a direct hire opportunity in Lewiston, Michigan. This strategic role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys balancing employee advocacy with business objectives while helping build a positive, high-performing workplace culture. Responsibilities: Partner with managers to align HR strategies with business goals Lead full-cycle recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding Provide guidance on employee relations, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution Support employee engagement, retention, recognition, and organizational development initiatives Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices Assist with workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development Maintain HR records, reporting, employee files, and confidential documentation Support payroll, timekeeping, benefits administration, and other HR functions as needed Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and organizational projects Build strong relationships throughout the organization while promoting a positive workplace culture Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of three years of Human Resources experience Manufacturing HR experience strongly preferred SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality Professional, approachable, and solutions-oriented mindset Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience partnering with leaders to solve business and workforce challenges #J-18808-Ljbffr
