Maintenance Technician - Donora, Pa

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for a well-established manufacturing company in the Donora area.

Compensation

Base Pay: $24/hour

3rd Shift Differential: + a $4/hour shift differential

1st 6AM-2:30PM

2nd 2PM-10:30PM

3rd 10PM-6:30AM

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Technician will perform general, preventative, and corrective maintenance plant-wide. This role is critical in minimizing downtime and ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
Complete equipment changeovers and line setups
Repair mechanical components (pumps, seals, bearings, motors, conveyors)
Repair electrical systems (motor control centers, fill/seal equipment, cooling tunnels)
Assist with installation of new equipment
Generate and complete work orders
Submit parts requests and maintain inventory awareness
Support food safety, sanitation, and quality systems
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
2+ years of mechanical and electrical experience required
Ability to read schematics and manufacturer specifications
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Basic computer skills
Reliable attendance and strong communication skills
Must pass a drug test
