• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health and substance use challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring continuity and comprehensive care for all clients.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about available mental health services and recovery programs.
\n
• Stay current with advancements in the field of social work and mental health to enhance service delivery and treatment approaches.
\n
• Document all client interactions and treatment updates meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared recovery experiences among clients.
\n

You will work primarily with adults undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions. This role requires sensitivity to the stigmas associated with addiction and mental illness, as well as a commitment to advocating for client dignity and respect throughout their recovery journey.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Virginia.
\n
• Strong experience in conducting clinical evaluations, treatment planning, and implementing therapeutic techniques specific to addiction recovery.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a detox environment or with a mental health population is preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with the latest therapeutic modalities and interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).

• Experience working within integrated healthcare frameworks and managing cases that require coordination across multiple service areas.
\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
