The overall purpose of the Associate Project Accountant position is to assist Project Accountants and Project Accounting Management to ensure invoicing on each project is handled in an accurate, efficient and professional manner. Non-exempt role; Takes daily direction from a Project Accounting Team Lead; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently. Essential Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / BusinessSelf-motivated, problem-solving, mentor, communication, time managementExtensive technical skills Microsoft Word, Excel, ReportsNow, etc.Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace Functional Requirements:Employee must help Project Accountants prepare and submit to our clients, detailed and accurate invoices of reimbursable costs associated with maintenance and construction projects; employee must effectively communicate and work closely with other departments, field personnel and client representatives to adequately compile invoicing information and problem resolution; employee must work well with other Project Accountants and offer assistance when a co-workers workload deems necessary.
