Receptionist – Beauty / Cosmetics / Fashion (6-Month Contract) Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC (100% Onsite) Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 / hour ( W2 Direct Employment Only ) Schedule: 40 Hours / Week (Monday – Friday, Onsite) Position Type: 6-Month Temporary Assignment About the Opportunity We are seeking a polished, articulate, and highly professional Receptionist for a 6-month temporary assignment supporting a premier, high-growth brand in the Beauty, Cosmetics, and Fashion industry in Midtown Manhattan. Serving as the primary face and voice of the corporate office, you will deliver a seamless, high-touch front-office experience for C-suite executives, celebrity/brand partners, VIP clients, and visiting team members. Key Responsibilities Executive Front Office Hospitality: Greet and check in all incoming executive guests, brand partners, and clients with a refined, professional demeanor. Call & Communications Management: Answer, screen, and direct high-volume incoming telephone calls and manage general corporate inbox inquiries with speed and precision. Meeting & Executive Logistics: Coordinate conference room calendars, arrange catering/beverage services for executive meetings, and manage VIP guest accommodations. Mail & Package Operations: Oversee incoming/outgoing mail, messenger services, couriers, and high-priority PR deliveries while maintaining front-office inventory. Brand & Administrative Support: Ensure the front-desk and lobby areas strictly align with brand aesthetic standards; assist cross-functional corporate teams with special projects and general administrative overflow. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 1–3+ years of front desk, receptionist, or administrative support experience. Industry Experience: Direct background in Beauty, Cosmetics, Fashion, Luxury Retail, or High-End Hospitality is strongly preferred. Communication & Demeanor: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a polished, approachable, and brand-conscious presence. Operational Strengths: Highly dependable, detail-oriented, multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. Onsite Availability: Ability to commute daily (40 hours/week) to Midtown Manhattan, NYC for the duration of the 6-month contract.
