Project Managers / FacilityManagement Schedule: Full-Time Country: United Kingdom Equans is looking for a Client Facing Project Manager to join our team covering Manchester and North Wales on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package. Working on a prestigious government account the post holder will be responsible for managing a variety of FM project works from 35k to 1M. The role requires site visits in and around Manchester and North Wales and offers hybrid working. Candidate required to obtain BPSS clearance prior to commencing. What will you deliver? Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor Work with developers, designers and sub‑contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s) Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and ensure delivery within agreed budget and required profit margins Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required; carry out full tender analysis of all sub‑contractor returns Ensure all project works are compliant with CDM 2015 Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project is leading Ensure EQUANS SHEQ practices and processes are fully embedded in each project Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures Manage the day‑to‑day operational aspects of the project(s) end to end, including estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub‑contractor management and site manager duties Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s) Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to benefit the project and the business Ensure project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored Provide timely monthly reports to the Head of Projects / Sector Director in an agreed format What can we offer you? 25 days annual leave (+ public holidays) Life Cover equivalent to 2 times annual salary Employee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailers Cycle to work scheme 2 corporate social responsibility days per year Broad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training and personalised support programmes Attractive Employee Referral Rewards Scheme Access to our growing employee networks including AccessAbility, Encompass, RISE, WOMEN TOGETHER, Working Parents and Young Professionals 24/7 Employee Assistance Program and access to mental wellbeing app Who are we looking for? Previous experience in a client facing project management role is essential, with technical knowledge in MEP services being ideal Strong organisational skills and ability to manage own administration tasks Champion of CDM regulations – deep knowledge of CDM regulations, duty holders, Building Safety Act, Building Regulations and Competent Contractor Scheme Strong influencing and negotiation skills Ability to understand commercial and financial metrics Ability to deliver to deadlines and present with confidence Ability to track multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate reporting and visibility of key data in the Project Management System Fully competent with Project Management methodology Broad understanding of construction health and safety law and legislation As part of our commitment to better reflect the markets within which we operate, we encourage applications from women, ethnically diverse individuals and people with disabilities, along with all candidates who identify with protected characteristic groups under the Equality Act 2010.
