Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and quality control, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. This role is vital to the Rebuild/Production department, supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. Job Title: Quality Inspector Location: Lenexa, KS Pay Range: $21 - $23/hr depending on experience Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 3:30pm + OT Reference Number: 5848128 | Published Date: 06/11/2026 | Job Type: Temporary | Industry: Management | Hours: Full Time Job Responsibilities Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials to ensure quality standards are met before storage. Conduct in‑process and final inspections on components, sub‑assemblies, and finished goods. Identify and control non‑conforming products, ensuring proper containment to prevent use or shipment. Document inspection findings accurately and certify products prior to shipment release. Assist in continuous improvement efforts by documenting opportunities and participating in problem‑solving teams. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3‑5 years of welding and/or quality control experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Proficiency with inspection tools such as rulers, tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and gauges (both analog and digital). Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings for inspection planning. Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred.
