The Job: This Intern is responsible for assisting with updating materials, preparing meeting documents, managing calendars, and other administrative tasks and executive functions for the External Affairs Department. Responsibilities Update and maintain office materials and records Prepare and organize materials for meetings and presentations Conduct research to support executive projects and initiatives Manage and coordinate calendars by assisting with scheduling meetings and appointments Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and handling correspondence Collaborate with other Executive Coordinators on high‑level tasks and projects Other duties as assigned Qualifications Currently working towards a college degree or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Word; familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. An eagerness to learn new skills and take on new challenges. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups. Mathematical: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as basic match, percentages, etc. Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Physical: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms throughout the work shift. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
