Marketing Intern at O'Hagan Meyer Chicago, IL

O'Hagan Meyer is seeking to hire a summer Marketing Intern to support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts through research, CRM management, and website maintenance. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail‑oriented student or recent graduate interested in legal marketing and professional services. The position is full-time (approximately 40 hours per week), runs throughout the summer, and is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. Responsibilities Conduct market, client, and competitive research to support marketing and business development initiatives. Maintain and manage the firm’s CRM system (Salesforce), including data entry, list management, reporting, and ensuring accuracy and consistency of client and prospect information. Assist with website maintenance, including updating content, proofreading copy, posting news items and events, and coordinating minor edits with internal teams or external vendors. Support the marketing team with data preparation, research summaries, and administrative marketing tasks. Update, format, and maintain PowerPoint presentations and other branded marketing materials to ensure consistency and alignment with firm standards. Assist with tracking and reporting on basic marketing metrics and CRM data as needed. Help organize and maintain marketing files, templates, and databases. Provide general marketing and business development support as assigned. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Law, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical and research skills. Comfortable working with data and CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Previous internship or coursework related to marketing, research, data management, or communications preferred, but not required. Interest in legal marketing or professional services is a plus.
