Our Client is a CPA firm in Garden City, Long Island , is expanding, and we're looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our close-knit team of professionals. If you have a strong background in tax, a solid understanding of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns, and want to contribute to a growing firm, this could be the perfect fit for you!

- A BS/MS in Accounting or Taxation .
- 5-6 years of experience with a CPA firm.
- 3-4 years of recent public accounting experience , specializing in corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
- CPA certification is a plus (but not required).
- Experience with Ultra Tax is a bonus!
- Lead the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns .
- Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and strategy to clients.
- Stay ahead of industry changes by keeping up-to-date with tax laws at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior team members, fostering a positive team environment.
- Contribute to the firm's growth and success by taking ownership of client relationships.
