We are looking for a senior litigation associate to take a leading role on high-stakes disputes for our clients. You will work directly with partners, own significant parts of every case, and get real courtroom and hearing experience — not years of document review.

• Litigate business disputes in federal and state court, including the Eastern District of Virginia, the local circuit courts, and in domestic and international arbitration;
\n
• Handle matters involving business torts, corporate governance disputes, breach of contract, trade secret theft, unfair competition, employment disputes, defamation, and qui tam actions;
\n
• Trials, take and defend depositions, brief and argue motions, manage discovery and experts, and draft dispositive and appellate briefs;
\n
• Assist with internal and government investigations; and
\n
• Mentor junior associates and paralegals.

• J.D. with strong academic credentials and active Virginia bar membership (MD and DC licenses, in addition to VA license, is a strong plus);
\n
• 5–8 years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm, ideally including first-chair or substantial second-chair trial, hearing, or arbitration experience;
\n
• Excellent writing — please include a writing sample;

• Judgment, initiative, and the ability to run matters with autonomy.
