The Quality Technician will support the manufacturing floor with quality issues, react to key program metrics, participate in root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations, drive corrective actions, and foster continuous improvements. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Protect PS from shipping nonconforming materialFacilitate RCCA with Corrective and Preventative ActionsHardware DispositionsOperator FeedbackFAI (First Article Inspection)InspectionsPart issue investigation/ Coordination with SQE (Supplier Quality Engineering)Data TrendingAction tracking and closureAudit supportBecause of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Required Education, Experience, & SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent1-2+ years of related work experienceA passion for process improvementWell-organizedStrong communicator capable of working through complex issues with peers, management and multiple functionsManufacturing experienceAbility to mine data and visually displayTechnical mindsetPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsMechanical background with an understanding of electrical components and Circuit Card Assemblies.Experience with Oracle systems, FLX factory Logix, PowerBI and/or Apex is a plus.Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material.Familiarity with IPC J-STD-001 Standard Soldering Requirements.Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment.Experience with root cause corrective action investigations.Experience with metric trending.Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $52108 - $83373 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
