Warehouse Team Lead 1st Shift

Warehouse Team Lead – Lancaster, Texas Lead warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and safety while managing a team of operators in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations. Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift and team operational logistics. Inspire and guide team members towards improved KPIs using appropriate leadership styles and methods. Assist in orientation for employees and provide necessary information, technology, and tools for their jobs. Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse. Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading. Complete and submit daily reports, propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). One year or more powered industrial truck experience (preferred). One year or more as a Team Lead (preferred). One year or more experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) (preferred). One year or more prior warehouse experience (preferred). Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required. Valid forklift operator's license certified. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective leadership skills. Possess flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Perform work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational skills. Proactively approaches responsibilities. Maintains composure under pressure. Working using health and safety methods. Bilingual (For Québec locations only). Benefits Hourly pay: $20.00 per hour. Lead differential: $2.00 per hour. Shift differential: $1.50 per hour.
