Summary of Position:

Senior Accountant is responsible for more complex financial accounting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the organization's financial health. This role includes general ledger management, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in corporate accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Key participant in monthly, quarterly and annual financial close
• Assists with financial statement preparation, reporting, and analysis
• Assist with international subsidiary audits, country specific statutory audits and tax filings. Also provides support for US audit and tax filings.
• Responsible for related account reconciliations and journal entries
• Maintains records and assists with compliance of transfer pricing requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for all international subsidiaries.
• Assist international audits (financial, statutory, etc.) and tax filings.
• Additional projects and analysis as requested

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years' experience general ledger accounting or public accounting
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• International accounting experience a plus
• Cost accounting experience a plus
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and assignments
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Accountabilities:

• Accurate and timely completion of financial close requirements
• Regular and predictable attendance required

Relationships:

• Will report directly to the Controller
• Works closely with all cross functional groups
