Details Float between the Emergency Department and CDU (Observation Unit) Working in CDU until 9/20, then assigned to ED or CDU thereafter Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30 Patient ratio of 1:4 Meditech charting system experience preferred but not required Every other weekend required Orientation held every Monday Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of ED experience required Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC ESI certification preferred Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Skills needed include pediatric and psychiatric emergency care, IV therapy, respiratory management, and cardiac monitoring Experience with neurological emergencies and ortho trauma care preferred Additional Information Provide emergency care across general adult/pediatric, trauma, and non-trauma cases Support patients presenting with conditions ranging from respiratory infections to traumatic injuries and psychiatric emergencies Orientation includes non-billable modules Holiday coverage required First-time travelers accepted if they have more than 2 years of ED experience Travel pairs accepted Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate RTO should be kept as minimal as possible and submitted upfront American Traveler Job ID P-750373.
