Whitmore Lake 6556 Whitmore Lake Road Whitmore Lake, MI 48189, USA The primary function of a laborer is to work on a variety of tasks involving physical labor that may include working with materials, building orders, loading and unloading trucks, working with inventory, and keeping work areas clean and safe. Duties and Responsibilities Build orders based on customer requests, ensuring materials and quantities are correct. Provide service to customers by retrieving and loading product, answering questions, and displaying proper attitude. Experience with operating a forklift. Staging materials and supplies to be loaded onto delivery trucks. Unload semi and preparing outgoing orders; put away inventory. Set-up and clean-up of the work area each day. Follow OSHA rules and regulations. Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications A minimum of 1-2 years working in a manual environment. An understanding of proper ways to load trucks and secure materials. Ability to follow directions. Knowledge of various materials used on the job. Ability to lift heavy objects. Problem solving.
