Their 1st product, KIMIA Recover, a continuous monitoring device for the knee joint, has obtained FDA Approval, CE marking and HSA approval, and booked revenues from large implant companies and hospitals. It has recently won the Johnson and Johnson Quickfire Challenge Award and has been selected by the Cedars Sinai Healthcare System (#1 in California and #5 in the USA according to US world rankings) for investment and commercial projects using the two products of the company. KIMIA Recover is a comprehensive recovery management solution providing reduction in number of hospital visits and complications for Total Knee Replacement Patients. The product was also the National Winner and International Top 20 of the prestigious James Dyson Award, and has gained traction with major public hospitals and orthopedic clinics. Their digital therapy platform, consisting of KIMIA Assess, uses artificial intelligence technology for digital MSK assessment and therapy. This platform is capable of providing pre-consultation assessments and real-time exercise guidance and feedback to musculoskeletal patients, and is being adopted by some of the largest private healthcare providers in the region, along with large corporate players. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Professional to drive growth across the fitness, physiotherapy, and wellness ecosystem in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening client relationships to expand the company’s market presence. This role requires a self-driven professional with strong industry knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven record of achieving sales targets in the fitness or health-tech domain. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales and partnership strategies to achieve business growth targets. Identify, engage, and manage key accounts across fitness centers, wellness studios, physiotherapy clinics, and rehabilitation providers. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive activity, and new opportunities. Lead sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to close deals. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility. Monitor sales performance and prepare periodic reports on revenue, pipeline, and market developments. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). 5–12 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally within the fitness, wellness, or health-tech sectors. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of the fitness and wellness market landscape in Los Angeles or California. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
