Production Supervisor

The Group provides packaging solutions for cartonboard and folding cartons with an attractive offer in kraft papers, uncoated fine papers, leaflets, and labels. Your Role You will ensure personnel are working safely, efficiently, and are producing good quality product at all times through frequent observation throughout each shift. You will adjust assignments as needed when presented with unplanned absences through knowledge of schedule and utilization of employees. You will work with Plant Lead Operators to provide effective cross training of employees to maximize shift versatility to meet production needs. You will initiate and investigate employee concerns as needed. You will ensure all materials are available for each job prior to set up (trays, cartons, shrink film, chip board, and material from cutting). You will assist in maximizing production on OT through self-availability and adequate coverage. You will review vacation requests and other attendance events in a timely manner to ensure that employee's time is accurate, and that payroll is met each week without error. You will continuously drive productivity and quality improvements that create a world class manufacturing operation. Your Profile You will have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education with an Associate degree preferred. You will have at least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role managing at least 15-20 associates. You will have excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
