Budget Analyst (Direct Hire)

Job Title Job Description Duties: Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee. Provide financial analyses, plans, and briefings for management. Participate in setting budget objectives. Analyze financial reports/information, prepare justification for a consolidated budget for all substantive programs and supporting administration activities. Use budget/financial system(s) to provide evaluative data to organization. Analyze financial‑related program issues to assure an integrated approach. Analyze/make recommendations for planning, policy formulation/implementation, and decision‑making. Forecast services/status of obligations and fund expenditures. Assure obligations and expenditures are in accordance with pertinent laws and regulations. Prepare reports of analysis, making recommendations for remedial action. Perform budget formulation and execution activities. Interpret and apply Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) guidance according to Federal, Agency, and Center regulations, directives, and policies. Provide current/future‑year spending plans, readjust spending plans as changes in funding occur. Advise senior management on the status of fiscal resources/future requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr NASA
