About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations of a growing organization. This role will oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, treasury functions, and compliance while serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership. The Controller will play a critical role in driving financial performance, ensuring reporting accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and supporting the organization’s continued growth. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting and financial operations activities. Manage financial reporting and support relationships with the parent organization. Prepare monthly financial statements, including: Income Statement Balance Sheet Cash Flow Statement Develop and present monthly financial and operational performance reporting. Analyze results against budget, forecasts, and prior-period performance. Lead the annual budgeting and planning process. Coordinate annual financial audits, retirement plan audits, and tax compliance activities. Oversee accounts receivable operations and collections efforts. Manage accounts payable activities and vendor payment processes. Review reconciliations and ensure timely month-end close execution. Oversee payroll activities in partnership with an external payroll provider. Manage treasury, cash flow, and related reporting requirements. Maintain banking relationships and support compliance reporting. Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures. Support ERP and systems enhancement initiatives. Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable financial reporting requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Progressive accounting leadership experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager. Strong working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting. Experience leading month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes. Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions. Experience supporting ERP implementations or financial system improvements is highly preferred. Proven leadership abilities with strong communication and team development skills. Ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and provide strategic financial insight. #J-18808-Ljbffr
