From uncovering the next clinical breakthrough, to rapid and reliable sample analysis, to more rigorous decision making—we are enabling clinicians to deliver the best possible care to their patients with improved efficiency, clinical confidence, adaptive collaboration, and accelerated intelligence.The Supplier Quality Engineer I for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for improving supplier quality for purchased components.This position reports to the Supplier Quality Manager and is part of the Supplier Quality located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Execution of daily supplier management actions to improve supplier performanceDisposition nonconforming material and develop plans to prevent recurrencePrimary supplier quality representative for root cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier caused manufacturing issuesUpdate supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection plansWork with suppliers to determine root cause and develop robust corrective actions.The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field0-2 years experienceAbility to read and understand specifications on engineering drawingsInvestigation skills to determine if components are nonconformingTechnical writing skills to document investigation resultsTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to travelAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb, any other physical requirementsIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Functional experience in supplier management in an FDA or other regulated industryKnowledge of GDTExperience with sampling plans and measurement systemsBeckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
