Contract | Varied Shifts (8s, 10s, and 12s available; day, evening, and night shifts; varied start times) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub (scrubbing is a plus) across a high-volume OR environment averaging 35–45 cases per day across 9 suites, one procedure room, and one hybrid room
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including general, ENT, eyes, ortho, robotics (Da Vinci and Rosa), neuro spine, vascular, trauma, and pediatric cases (dental and ENT); excludes CVOR and L&D C-sections
• Assist with robotic-assisted procedures, including passing arms in and out for robotics
• Participate in on-call rotation: one weeknight on-call (7p–7a), one weekend 24-hour on-call (7a–7p per month), and holiday rotation as needed; call response time is 30 minutes
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Evening and night shift RNs must be comfortable serving as the sole RN on the unit alongside two surgical techs; OR staff are responsible for room turnover

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2–3 years of Operating Room experience
• 2–3 previous travel assignments required
• Ortho experience required
• Must have hands-on experience passing arms in and out for robotic-assisted surgery
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Evening, night, and 3–11 shift candidates must have experience across all surgical specialties
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
• Comfort with neuro spine cases including burr holes, VP shunts, ventriculostomies, laminectomies, discectomies, fusions, TLIF, and ALIF
• Experience with vascular cases such as AV fistulas, carotids, angiograms, fem-pops, and BKA procedures
